The hotel is specially designed for family holidays. Taverns, restaurants, bars and shops are very close to the hotel. Friendly and charming, it offers a very good standard of accommodation and a very good value for money.

Cactus Hotel is situated 100 meters from the beach, 15 minutes walk from the town's shopping and 5 minutes walking from the famous Mackenzie Beach. Restaurants, Taverns, Bars, shops, and banks are within 10 minutes walk.

"Please ignore the previous reviewer !!!!"
had my doubts about staying in this hotel after reading the review posted a few years ago stating that the place was a "nightmare'. I have been fortunate to travel the World and stay in every type of accomodation from very inadequate hostels to five star hotels. I would rate the Cactus Hotel as an average hotel for a very reasonable price. If you want to stay in a hotel which has ensuite facilities, air conditioning, swimming pool and very friendly receptionists then I would recommend this hotel. However if you demand a bit more luxury then please do not consider this Hotel. I always believe that you always get what you pay for, but in this case I got a little bit more than I expected. The Hotel is a ten to fifteen minute walk to the nearest beach so very reasonable.
